Maya Ri Sanchez is a full time professional Actress in Film/TV/Commercials/Voice Overs. She belongs to both SAG/AFTRA unions. Her career started at the age of 11 years old when she competed in several modeling/ talent pageants and won runner up in the US Model competition. Her love of acting started early when at the age of 13 yrs old she worked on a few Public Service Announcements with Teen Empowerment, a teen peer leader group in Boston MA, where she was born and raised. She then began study acting and at the age of 16 landed her first lead role in the independent film "Vanessa, The Orange Thrower" by Director Kimberly Caviness.

Today Maya Ri Sanchez has filmed several commercials and has filmed and worked with several legendary actors such as Uma Thurman in the feature film "Motherhood" (2009), Susan Sarandon in the feature film "Greatest" (2009), Debra Messing, Annette Benning, Meg Ryan and Eva Mendes in the feature film "The Women" (2008), and Fionnula Flanagan in the hit TV show "Brotherhood" (2007) season 2 episode 7 on DVD. Maya Ri also had the opportunity to work in the 'Soaps' as a small reoccurring role in the soap opera "All My Children" where she played Erika Kane's (Susan Lucci) Prison guard.
